Class of 2025 Parent:
Drama at MSGA was amazing! We were especially pleased with the quality of instruction given throughout the year. Involving the chorus teacher proved to be a huge success when the play debuted. Some of the highlights included: meeting new friends from other elementary schools, getting to perform and win Junior Theatre Festival, building sets and gathering costumes. Mr. Waters and Mrs. Keiser lead the students and really developed their unique talents. We will forever be grateful for the experience our daughter had at MSGA.
Class of 2026 Parent:
What a privilege it’s been to be a part of MSGA Drama this year! Mr. Waters and his team are outstanding, and bring the best out of each and every student in the program. They instill hard work, dedication and camaraderie within the cast leading to incredible performances. It has without a doubt been the highlight of our child’s year!
Class of 2025 Parent:
The MSGA Enhanced Theater led by Mr. Waters has been he best experience for my child. Since the class meets daily, the Academy Actors formed a strong bond and it showed as they performed. They performed at various community events, the Atlanta Junior Theater Festival (where they won multiple awards), and the school performance. Mr. Waters teaches with passion and pushes the students to do their best. I would highly recommend this program!
Designer from 2025 & 2026:
I started working with MSGA Drama last year and I must say it has been an amazing experience working with Josh and the children. They are a talented group of kids that put their all into their craft and is dedicated to give the best show as possible. I have never worked with a group of sixth graders that have worked so hard. I look forward to working with them each year and I cant wait to see the work they put out in the future. Josh is an outstanding director and I just love that I can help bring his vision to life.

We cannot say enough great things about MSGA's Enhanced. The production level, professionalism, preparedness, quality and energy of the performances were unmatched by anything I’ve seen in MCS. Mr. Waters has the MSGA drama program in an incredible place. He is the hero to these kids, and he inspires them in such powerful ways. I have seen, and still see, the way in which his former students talk about him. He is truly the best kept secret within MCS.
